According to the Statutes, the ESAU Governing Board has 5-7 members. A member of the board must be a member of the association, a natural person of full legal capacity, with an impeccable reputation and a communicative knowledge of English. The Board is mandated by the General Assembly for a period of two years. The Chairperson, the Vice-Chairperson and the Chief Financial Officer shall be elected by the members of the Board from among themselves. Board members are not remunerated for their work, which is done on a pro bono basis.

Area of responsibility: Chairman of the Board; training and development.
- Arlet Rebane, member of the Board
Area of responsibility: IT developments, cooperation with Estonian partners.
- Laura Lätt, member of the Board, Chief Financial Officer
Area of responsibility: Chief Financial Officer.
- Gert Schultz, member of the Board
Area of responsibility: international cooperation, partnership with universities.
- Krista Nelson, member of the Board
Area of responsibility: member of the board in charge of certifications, cooperation with Estonian partners.
- Terje Keerberg, member of the Board
Area of responsibility: member of the board in charge of certifications and cooperation with Estonian partners.
- Piret Kustasson-Seilmaa, member of the Board
Area of responsibility: member of the board in charge of member services, cooperation with Estonian partners.
