The Institute of Internal Auditors Estonia (ESAÜ) is a non-profit, private legal entity that unites persons interested in the internal audit profession on the basis of voluntary membership.
The protection of personal data is very important to us and at ESAÜ we take it very seriously.
In the protection and processing of personal data, the ESAÜ complies with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act and the European Union data protection regulations. It also complies with the obligations on the privacy of personal data arising from the agreement between the ESAÜ and The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
ESAÜ collects and stores members' data in the members' database.
- A list of members, including their places of work, job titles and certificates, is publicly available on the ESAÜ's website www.siseaudit.ee, with the aim of providing the public with an overview of members and enabling to contact them.
- Membership data is used for statistical purposes and for invoicing (membership fees and training invoices) as well as for contacting members.
- The data of new members (name, e-mail address) will be transmitted to the IIA via an electronic platform (http://ic.theiia.org), in accordance with the agreement with the IIA, in order to provide the IIA with the necessary information on the membership of the ESAÜ.
The protection and processing of members' data is governed by the ESAÜ's Privacy Policy.
As a data subject, you have:
- The right to access personal data about you,
- the right to correction of personal data, and
- the right to have your personal data erased.
If a member does not wish to have his/her personal data visible on the Association's website, he/she may disable the display of the data on his/her account settings page.
